Faizat Hussein (Me)

Personal Brand

Problem

I started with zero. No industry skill, no network, no authority. Just an undergraduate with a thesis: personal branding and SEO were being treated as two separate conversations when they should have been one. I had nothing to point to as proof, no portfolio, no client list, no track record. Only the idea, and an idea alone convinces no one.

Solution

I built the proof myself. A 120-day consistency challenge on LinkedIn, posting daily, while learning SEO from scratch in parallel. LinkedIn became the mechanism that turned effort into visibility, and visibility into an internship. The SEO knowledge compounded through Typetheta, Wentors, SearchPie, and RAI, each role adding to the last. LinkedIn kept growing the entire time, the same discipline that started everything: show up, document the learning, let consistency build the credibility on its own.

Takeaway

The 120-day challenge alone produced two direct outcomes: a job offer at Wentors and my first speaking engagement, the first real proof that consistency in public could open doors that a resume couldn’t. From there, the compounding kept going. LinkedIn sits at 34,457 followers. At RAI, now AI Visibility and SEO Strategist after a promotion, I lead a team of 6 SEO writers across 7 SaaS accounts. One client blog went from near-zero to 2M+ monthly impressions with a 917% increase in organic clicks in 6 months. 220+ bottom-of-funnel keywords now rank in Google’s top 10. Client work has generated over $80K in attributable revenue. faizathuss.com is the most recent proof point, and the fastest. Less than a month after launch, it’s already ranking for queries that matter most: “personal branding seo,” “generative engine optimization case study,” “how to rank in ai answers,” “personal brand seo.” People are also searching my name directly, “faizat hussein,” “faizat,” meaning the personal brand isn’t just visible. It’s becoming recognized. The thesis I started with as an undergraduate with nothing to point to is now something the data confirms on its own.
